We start at the Katlatrack Base, where we will cycle through the village before heading up the old mountain road to the top of Reynisfjall, our local mountain. We'll traverse the trail along the east side of the mountain, taking in the amazing views of Vík, the black sand beaches, Hjörleifshöfði before finally stopping at the edge of the mountains where the greatest view awaits us, the world famous black sand beach Reynisfjara, with the towering black pillars just off the coast. In the distance we'll see Dyrhólaey with its famous stone arch. From there we'll cycle back to Vík, having seen all the main attractions of the area in one amazing bike tour.
