What happens if I don't see any aurora?

If you don't see the Northern Lights on your tour, please send us an email at hello@icelandicroamers.is. We'll do our best to provide you with another tour on the first available night, free of charge. NOTE: we can offer you rescheduling and re-tries only as a Small Group Tour aboard a bus. 

*Please note that witnessing the Northern Lights isn't guaranteed. We aim to run these tours only when the weather and solar activity are favorable. Even if the forecast is very positive, the lights may be faint or may not appear at all. This is nature, and we can't know for sure, even with all weather and solar activity forecasts.

As this tour is fully dependent on the weather, we will provide a final decision no later than 2 hours before the pick-up time regarding whether it's worth trying or if it’s better to cancel or reschedule. 

Jump on board our fearless vehicle and head towards the darkness, far from the rustle and bustle of the city, in search of perfect weather conditions for the grand spectacle. The guide will pick you up at your accommodation in Reykjavik, monitoring the forecast of auroral activity and the invincible off-roader, adapted to the most difficult conditions, will overcome large boulders, steep climbs and rushing rivers with ease. All this to increase your chances of a once-in-a-lifetime viewing.

The stunning bursts of colors, caused by variations in the magnetic field of the Earth, make even Thor and his thunders green with envy. To witness the magnificent show of the vibrant lights dancing across the sky, twirling right before your eyes, will turn into a life-changing event - take our word for it.
